About me

Visitor Profile

I specialise in composing healing music for external recording whilst my teaching style encompasses encouraging music in all kinds of genre bringing out the individuality of each pupil. I teach piano keyboard for beginners to intermediate level.
I am also an established contemporary fibre artist tapestry weaver with over twenty years experience working with linen sisal and paper in creative and innovative ways. I feel creativity is an integral part of our wellbeing. Wellbeing is the thread binding together what I hope to offer you.

Ideas can take time to form when working on woven textiles, so, sketchbook work is vital too for this medium. I always have one or two sketchbooks on the go! I love experimenting with different fibres for my woven textile art. Sisal is the most recent fibre used in my creative work, but linen continues to be the most predominant yarn for my fibre art.....sometimes bringing in paper encourages my experimental nature to see where weaving can go.
